This Award is specifically aimed for those members who face, or have faced in the past year, unexpected circumstances which have impacted household income and led to or exacerbated financial hardship.

Criteria
· Applications will be considered for those members who have not received a Regional Christmas Award in the last 3 years.
· Must be a UNISON member with at least 4 weeks membership and have paid their subscriptions.
· Retired members must have paid their one-off Retired Members Fee.
· Only one application is allowed per household.
Please note that whilst this is a Christmas Award – it is open to members and retired members of any faith or none.
You need to complete the attached Christmas Appeal GDPR Member Consent Declaration Form before we can proceed with an application. Regional Welfare Committee will consider applications made by the Welfare Officer from Dudley General Branch and all case will be decided on an individual basis.
A supermarket Christmas voucher will be issued to those considered successful by the Regional Welfare Committee.
Only one application is allowed per household and those who have received assistance in the previous 3 years will not be considered this year.
Deadline
The deadline for receipt of applications is 15 November 2024.
Applications will be processed confidentially and decided at a specially convened Regional Welfare Committee meeting.
